All original SA dagger and scabbard with double marked Eickhorn and RZM M7 / 66 1939 markings. The blade shows age and discoloration and there is a small nick near the top as shown in the photos. The wooden grip is chipped and cracked in a couple of spots as shown. Scabbard retains about 80% of the original brown paint. The ball tip is dented as shown.
This dagger comes directly from the son of the U.S. WWII veteran who picked this up in the early 40s in Saint Lo, France which was almost completely destroyed during the Normandy invasion. He entered France on D-Day and stayed through the end and remained in France during the occupation as he was trilingual and spoke English, French and Russian.
